JAVA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

We have an immediate need for a skilled Java Software Developer to work on innovative projects related to national law enforcement. These projects require software developers interested in applying their strong programming talents to cutting edge technologies. Our projects support Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

This requires US citizenship. Candidates do not have to have an active clearance, but those with a DHS clearance are highly desired.

Qualified candidates will have a demonstrable understanding of Java technologies, and significant development experience using Java/J2EE, Server-side (Spring Framework, Spring MVC, JSP, XML, XSD, XSL, JSF, Oracle), Eclipse based development tools, and IBM Middleware. Ideal candidates will be: committed to creating readable, reliable and maintainable code; willing to learn new technologies; able to work with minimal supervision; relied upon for critical tasks; willing to accept leadership roles when called upon to do so.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 3 years Java development experience
• XML, XSD, XSL
• Spring Framework
• J2EE/JSP/Servlets
• JDBC
• JUnit
• Strong OOP skills
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
