Job Description:

SimonComputing has openings for Intemediate Software Developers to work on a large range of law enforcement related projects. Candidates should have significant development experience using Java/J2EE and be familiar with Java based development tools. Strong programming experience is desired in J2EE/Java, Server-side (Struts, JSP, XML/XSL, JSF, Oracle), Client-side (Java, Swing), Eclipse based development tools and IBM Middleware.

The ideal candidate is able to work independently on a project as well as within a team environment. The candidate must be committed to creating readable, reliable, and mantainable code.

Job Requirements:

All positions require a full background investigation and US citizenship. Active Top Secret Clearance or DHS Background Investigation is highly desired.

Required technical skills include:

• 4-8 years Java coding experience
• Clear understanding of Java fundamentals (Your skills will be verified.)
• J2EE/JSP/Servlets and/or Swing
• JDBC
• Strong OOP skills
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies as needed
• Bachelors Degree or equivelent experience
